From Chrome, navigate to your quiz and click the Take the Quiz button. You may have to press the Refresh key on your keyboard, if you experience issues. After completing the quiz, you'll have exit out of the Lockdown Browser Extension to get back to your regular Chrome browser.

What should I do? Over applications, such as screen capture and chat programs, are "blacklisted. When this warning message appears, Respondus LockDown Browser will offer to close the blacklisted program for you, which is the easiest way to continue. I want to use Respondus in a UWF computer lab, but my professor wants us to use the webcam and audio recording features in Respondus.

What could I do? Most UWF computers on campus do not have webcams and microphones. Students must schedule this proctoring session in advance. Someone will get back with you as soon as possible. If you have a compatible browser and internet connection preferably a broadband connection such as DSL or cable , you should have no problem connecting to and using e-Learning.

A broadband Internet connection is strongly recommended. Slower connections should still be able to access e-Learning, but will take longer to load.

Links to Tools are in the menu bar on the left side of the screen. Links to Courses and Project Sites appear as tabs across the top of the page. If you are getting errors, it is because the content is placed in a location that isn't accessible to you.

You may contact the Help Desk and we will try to locate the problem and contact the Instructor. Various browsers handle pdf files differently. If you encounter a pdf file that doesn't open, right-click the file and download it. You will be able to open it on your computer. It is recommended that you take online assessments during Help Desk hours whenever possible.

If you have a problem while taking an Assessment, log out and log back in as quickly as possible. If the assessment is timed, the timer will continue to run while you are logged out. If you still encounter difficulties, take a screen shot of the problem so the Help Desk can investigate and you will have proof of the problem for your Instructor. If the instructor requires a test password, a new window will appear asking for the Exam Password.

Enter the password and click Begin Exam. The test will then start. Note, once a test has been started with Respondus LockDown Browser, you cannot exit until the Submit button is clicked.
