J.s cooper rhett in love pdf download

I liked this so much more than the first one. The video that Rhett made on youtube was just too freakin' amazing. Rhett is just, so damn amazing. The only thing I was kinda bummed out about, was Clementine. She's so fucking annoying, I thought she would be better in this one and in some ways she was, but still OMG this chick drives me nuts. Overall I enjoyed this story and I'm hearing there's gonna be an epilogue, I'm really pumped for that.

If you enjoyed the first one then I think you'd enjoy this follow up. Although it seemed short, it was fun to see Clementine and Rhett in Boston together adjusting and living together. Also, jealous tendencies tend to play a part.

Not too deep or anything but just a quick enjoyable read. Sep 18, Hannah rated it really liked it. Aug 19, Raj rated it liked it.

The moment I started reading it, I was like 'What is Rhett all about? I've read books after Rhett so that's one of the reason why, but still, for someone who loved book 1 and to remember nothing is just.. Anyways, Part 1 was I got bored, I skipped and I didn't like the story that much. Part 2, it got better, that's why I gave it 3 stars.

Part 1 was just about Rhett going on and on about Clem not being enough to fix his shit, or he's a jealous asshole and shit. It was more about the transition of being BFF's to Lovers I didn't feel shit, so for me, Part 1 deserves 1 or 2 stars. Huge disappointment I loved the first book loved the character development, but this one was so juvenile,I felt no chemistry.

The story was lame and disjointed. They didn't even feel like the first book characters at all. I am not even sure what the story is about let alone why the author turned it in to series in the first place. I did like the creative touch of the video at the end and that is the only reason I gave it the second star.

Jul 24, Loraine Oliver rated it it was amazing Shelves: reviewed-books. Rhett in Love Part 2 was amazing! This book was so good that it actually made me cry, and that does not happen to this 62 year old lady!

For just a moment I want to digress to the prol Rhett in Love Part 2 was amazing! For just a moment I want to digress to the prologue of book 1 and this will show you what I mean! She sat next to me in class, and as the best student in the class, she was always winning pieces of candy from the teacher. One day I'd had enough of watching her eat candy. I wanted to share in the candy with her, so I sent her a note: "do you want to be my friend? In the beginning of book 2.

Even though Rhett is the typical southern gentleman, and one of the good old guys, he moves with Clementine and finishes his last year on line. He wants to be with Clementine all the time, and her leaving to go to school just made him realize his feelings for her went way beyond just best friends any more but love between a man and a woman.

This is all new to Rhett, in the past we see him as the typical rich and handsome blond haired, blue eyed young man who is always hooking up with women and never seeing them but once and then moving on. His friendship with Clementine is so much more-they have been best friends since 7 years of age and he never felt urges towards her that had to do with sex, as they were friends.

Now this had changed. When they were 21, Rhett's feelings towards Clementine changed, and he did not want that to happen as he always wanted her in his life and he was afraid that if they became lovers, things may change and they would no longer be together. Clementine is also 21, and she loves Rhett, has loved him always, they were inseparable as children, and even though Rhett had not realized it, he has always been the romantic knight in shining armor to her.

She loved him when he was growing up and dating all the girls and watched him go through one night hook ups all the time. But she still waited. Then one day, she realized she needed to move away to grow up and hoped that by doing so she would make Rhett realize that even if it was not her, he did need to have someone in his life. Clementine knows why Rhett is this way, she has been there when he was little and his mom no longer paid attention to him, and her family adopted him as part of the family, he was Clementine's best friend.

Clementine loves Rhett so much she can feel the hole in his heart due to his mother's abandonment of him. Clementine always knew when he was feeling bad and why. This book is full of emotional situations, feelings that both Clementine and Rhett feel towards each other and others as well.

Even though they are living together now, this is a whole new situation and adjustments need to be made. Through a series of events, Rhett finally realizes that he can run from his past but he can't hide and if he wants to be the man Clementine needs him to be, he has to go back home and do something about his mother, and move on to be a good person for Clementine-be that man she has up on that pedestal. Although Clementine is sad to see him go, she knows in her heart it has to be this way.

Read of the journey of Rhett and Clementine, as they move to Boston and then Rhett goes back home, and see what happens, see how she knew that only being there less than a week, Rhett fell into despair, and he did not say anything, but at the end of the same day of his utter despair, he looked up and she was standing there, standing there for him!

Intuitively she knew that he needed her. This is a touching tender story of first love for both of them, and the journey is rough at times, but in the end read and see if it is worth it or not! I take my hat off to you J. Cooper, you touched my heart with this series, and i am sure you will touch other's hearts as well. It showcase the insecurities adult children of alcoholics face when they choose the bottle over family. Plus it ended with a HEA. My only disappointment was the link for the engagement video doesn't work.

I would have loved to check it out. Sep 30, Bewaji rated it liked it. Just Okay.. They both have doubts and problems like new couples do. Growing pains so to say. Rhett though am starting to have my doubts about him in this book. I don't want to give anything away. I think he tried to redeem himself at the end. Hopefully that will be it. He also kind of suddenly changed his mind about stuff no spoilers. Finally I think this should have been labelled a novella.

Even though the author tried to make up for the brevity with a part 11 that is supposed to be interactive, it did not work for me. Just good because it is Rhett and Clementine. I love these two. Just okay read for me. Jul 13, Teri rated it really liked it. One sec, so I can wipe away all the tears. That ending!!!!!

What a heart felt gift! I'll admit this was a hard read for me. I thought they were both immature. Rhett really needed to grow up.

Clemie got on my nerves. But they are young characters and needed the time to grow together as a couple. What won me over were the little sweet moments and the journey Rhett was to take. I would have loved to see Clemie acknowledge there were things she could work on as well.

The video is a tear jerker!!!! The One sec, so I can wipe away all the tears. What a unique addition to a book!! Love of a lifetime If you haven't read Rhett you have to read it first or you will not appreciate the depth of this book.

Rhett and Clementine were meant to be together but the challenges they face in this book will test their love to new levels. Will you be angry, yes; will you laugh, yes and you most definitely will cry but this is a book you have to read. You won't want to put it down. Oh Rhett! I've loved Rhett from the beginning. The relationship between Rhett and Clemmie is one I wish I had experienced lol This book broke my heart at times. I wanted to be able to climb through the screen and give Rhett a big old hug and tell him Ioved him.

I'm happy that he was able to come to terms with his past and move forward with his life. I will miss them. Oct 10, Diane rated it liked it. I accidentally read book 2 before book one. Not quite sure how I screwed that one up.

But it may explain why I didn't actually enjoy this story. Then again I had a problem with the writing style, so basic and boring. That wouldn't have changed the story I will go back and read book one now Hope it changes my take..

Jul 01, StScho rated it did not like it Shelves: train-wreck , college. I read the first one and didn't care for that one either. Why did I read the 2nd? I must be. I think I'm just not gelling with this author and her writing style. Aug 16, Katty Suero rated it really liked it.

I enjoyed part 1 of this book but part 2 I felt like it could have been better. I still enjoyed the book. Oct 04, Periwinklepsyche rated it it was amazing Shelves: new-adult. Such an adorable and sweet story of love that started from a great friendship. I feel like book 1 ended on a good note I feel like this second book totally ruined the story line. Mar 27, B.

This book can be read as a stand-alone, but it follows the title Rhett, which is the story of how he fell in love with Clementine. His wealthy father had a job waiting for him. Girls threw themselves at him thanks to his good looks.

He never made promises, so he didn't worry himself about their feelings afterward. It didn't matter that he was arrogant and cocky. Everyone fell for his charm with two exceptions: his father and Clemmie. Clementine O'Hara had been his best friend since they were seven. She was his rock. Clemmie never held anything back like the other girls.

She was real with him, yet a loyal friend. They did almost everything together. She focused on her studies, which he admired. He was practically part of her family. Many suggested they behaved like an old married couple and assumed they were dating, but Rhett would never go there.

He believed that would have ruined the only relationship that really mattered to him. Rhett never wanted to marry. He didn't believe in love. His parents' failed marriage did a number on him, and when his alcoholic mother walked away from him and his dad ten years ago, it left him with a hole in his heart. But as long as he had Clemmie for a best friend, he didn't need anything more. When Clemmie announced she wanted to date, Rhett was confused because she was supposed to be devoted to her studies.

Clemmie insisted it was what she wanted and warned him that things would change between them, but he stubbornly believed nothing needed to change. Ever so slowly he came to the realization that Clementine was the love if his life.

He has opted to finish his degree by taking online courses through SC State, so his schedule is more flexible than hers and he often finds himself alone. After a few months of living together in their new surroundings, the novelty is wearing off and the reality of daily life together is settling in. Despite their love for one another, insecurities tarnish the couple's new relationship status. He fears she will leave him as his mother did, and she fears he will return to his playboy ways which had become a well-established habit many years in the making.

While Rhett and Clementine's romance is sweet and light-earted in the title Rhett, Rhett in Love takes a more serious turn. They learn that sometimes love isn't enough. The story delves deep as Rhett faces his demons and Clementine comes to terms with her role in his life.

This is a love story not only for the couple, but for Rhett as a person. It is nicely written. The plot is simple. The subject matter is relatively serious in tone. Rhett's character is more complex here than in the first story. Clementine has the patience of an angel as she gently attempts to guide Rhett.

The dialogue is entertaining. When the mood is light, Rhett and Clementine's banter is diverting. The story is written in first person. Part two is from Rhett's POV. Hearing the story in his words is he great because his inner struggle is laid bare.

He grows tremendously from beginning to end. I rate this book four stars. Mar 30, Sheila rated it it was amazing. Cooper I received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review. This book can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading Rhett Book 1 in advance There are several things that really impressed me about this book - one being that for a couple so young both college seniors they realized there we 5 Stars for Rhett in Love by J.

These two went from being best friends Rhett has a deeply rooted distrust stemming from childhood where he was pretty much abandoned by his alcoholic mother. They both fear if they do break up not only is it the end of their relationship - but the end of a lifelong friendship. Sep 21, Sara rated it it was ok Shelves: series , friends-to-lovers. I felt no chemistry.

I don't know why Makes for a fun read ; And the only other thing I was thinking five-star rating until it went from sweet-corny to over the top cheesy The fairy tale thing? Using her brother as a horse? Other than those little things this was awesome and I am looking forward to the next book. Download links for: Rhett Advertising. Online stores:. Copy in the library:.
